Precooked white cornmeal. PAN is the first and most popular brand of corn flour in Colombia and Venezuela. It is used to make the cornmeal dough known as “masarepa”, which is a basic ingredient in typical Venezuelan and Colombian dishes such as arepas, hallacas and bollos. It is also used to prepare empanadas, hallaquitas, tamales, tortillas, gorditas, polenta, and milho fritto. It is an easily digestible flour and contains no additives, which are suitable for gluten-free and nut-free foods.
